Pieter and Sharon had a wishlist of elements that were absolute must-haves within the artwork. These included images of the children, their parents, the delectable macarons, the clinking champagne glasses, the text from their wedding invitation, and ideally, the group photo, delicate lingerie, and wedding rings. Last but not least, there is also a picture in the mandala of a tattoo Pieter has. The tattoo is a tribute to his deceased mother, who, of course, could not be missed in their wedding mandala portrait.
